300 mm wide, 715 mm high, 580 mm deep. The XT6 occupies less floor space than many comparable fully automatic machines, but requires an additional 20 cm headroom above the outlet for refilling the bean hoppers due to the machine's tall front panel and outlet mechanics. Anyone considering placement under a wall-mounted cupboard or in a recessed space must account for this. Rear clearance of at least 50 mm is required per manual to avoid obstructing maintenance and cable routing. The machine weighs approximately 60 kg per datasheet — transport requires at least two personnel and a stable supporting surface.
Material selection: The housing sides are 3 mm thick aluminium, explicitly highlighted in the product sheet. Compared to plastic fronts, aluminium scores for impact resistance and visual durability. Visible fingerprints remain unavoidable on brushed surfaces. The central 8.4-inch touchscreen is covered by 3 mm thermally hardened glass. This protects against mechanical damage but increases glare in side lighting. The touchpanel handles all control and programming functions; no mechanical buttons are present. Operators wearing work gloves frequently encounter limitations here, as touch input is designed for fingertips.
Beverage dispensing height adjusts continuously from 70 to 185 mm. Those filling 0.5 litre takeaway cups have adequate flexibility. In shift operations, this adjustability suffices, but motorised outlets found on some competitors are absent. All service doors must remain accessible from front and sides for cleaning. No real disadvantage provided floor space is verified during installation planning.
Bean hoppers have no external fill-level windows. Operators must open the lid each time to check contents, which becomes tedious during break service. Both bean hoppers hold approximately 1 kg each. Hopper material is not specified in the datasheet, but product photos and brochures indicate transparent plastic with black lids.
The device concept implements full-touch operation consistently. Menu structure and product selection follow café layouts: large symbol areas, straightforward recipe customisation directly at the machine. For fine adjustments, however, operation requires dry, clean hands — the touchscreen has limited acceptance of damp fingers or gloves. Menu navigation is logically grouped; PIN protection for locked menu points is provided, but deeper programming access requires technician access per manual.
Milk or powder module placement is realised as optional add-ons. Refrigerated boxes or powder cartridges dock left or right. The overall appearance remains functional but fragmented — the seamlessly integrated look of compact fully automatic machines is not intended.
Build quality and haptics target mid to premium deployment settings: canteen, bakery, hotel breakfast service with approximately 100 to 200 daily cups. Single-desk or small-office solutions are clearly oversized here. The XT6 demands a professional deployment environment, otherwise you sacrifice floor space and capital investment.
