European Vending & Coffee Service Association: European trade association for the vending industry, based in Brussels. Publishes market statistics, standards (EVA-DTS, NAMA Energy Certificate), and advocates for the industry. National representation in Germany: BDV (Bundesverband Automatenwirtschaft).
The European Vending & Coffee Service Association is the European umbrella association of the industry, based in Brussels. It brings together national associations, represents the industry to EU institutions, and maintains the technical standards through which vending machines and payment systems communicate — including the EVA-DTS data exchange format.
Additionally, it publishes European market statistics for vending and office coffee service: revenue and equipment inventory by country, location type distribution, and market share by device category. For comparing Germany with neighbouring countries, it is the only consistent source available.
