EVA-DTS
Term from the vending glossary
European Vending Association Data Transfer Standard — defines how sales and audit data are read from the vending machine. Current version: 6.2.
EVA-DTS structures all relevant vending-machine data records: sales figures per product, cash reconciliation, inventory levels, prices and events (faults, door open). Data is transmitted via DEX (RS-232) or directly through a telemetry module and fed into the vending management system in EVA-DTS format.
Version 6.2 (current) extends the format with audit records for cashless transactions and multi-currency support. All major VMS systems (e.g. Crane VendMax, Vendon, Cantaloupe) and manufacturer backend systems support EVA-DTS 6.2.
