Machine that automatically executes the entire coffee preparation process: grinding, dosing, brewing, and dispensing. In the vending context, always designed as unattended self-service.
The term encompasses all machines that complete the entire journey from bean to finished cup without guest intervention: grinding, dosing, brewing, milk frothing, and grounds disposal. In commercial deployment, machines differ less in output quality than in service interval—what matters is how many cups can be dispensed between two service visits without intervention.
For machine selection, three factors are more important than the equipment list: actual daily volume at the location, water supply (mains connection or tank), and cleaning routine. A machine requiring daily manual cleaning is the wrong choice at an unattended location, even if it makes the better cup.
